Award-Winning Cioppino’s Debuts New Spring Dishes, Nears Major Milestone

Vancouver, BC | The patio is open and Chef Pino Posteraro is serving light spring fare with a focus on seasonal vegetables and local ingredients. The refreshed spring menu celebrates the arrival of warmer weather in dishes like Pacific Octopus with Tuscan white beans and herbs; Gnocchetti of saffron and lemon with lobster with spicy Calabrese Nduja salami-tomato sauce; and West Coast sustainable halibut in herb crusted escalope served with simple sauce of roasted tomatoes lemon and herbs. Cioppino’s has been the recipient of several world-class awards this spring, beginning with the recently announced Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants, where the restaurant ranked #34 in all of Canada. Said the judges: “No other restaurant in town delivers luxurious Italian dining—and drinking—of such estimable range, passion and authenticity.” The award is one in a series of recent international recognition which includes a three-star ranking in the World’s Best Wine Lists; a #11 ranking in the Top 100+ North American Heritage Restaurant Awards; and a four diamond award from AAA.
